The BT4500 is a new floor Moder Clinical Chemistry that includes a built-in four-parameter I.S.E. module.
The analyzer has a throughput of 420 tests/hr. For clinical chemistry and a throughput of 240 tests/hr for I.S.E testing, providing up to a combined throughput of 600 tests/hr.
The analyzer has three sampling arms, one for samples, and two for reagents. The samples tray allows for 100 positions and the refrigerated reagents plate is designed with 40+40 positions. Three containers are available for auxiliary sample dilution solutions.
The sampling arms are equipped with a new mechanical design for the detection of any obstruction and a new device for quick movement of the needle, allowing for efficient mixing of reagents and solutions. The positioning of the arms makes use of new high-precision encoders. The sampling arm comes equipped with a clot detection sensor which can monitor the operations of the echo cycle of the machine indicating hydraulic malfunctions.
